1999 Legacy only: Passive arming of the optional 1999 alarm organization.

Undo the plastic door sill protector (driver door with correct hand drive model)

Hidden under the plate are 2 cable ends with plastic plugs, possibly clear/whitish. Connect (doesn�t matter whether the window is up or downwardly, the door closed or shut, or the key in ignition or not)
Press �Lock� on the working remote, then immediately later on �Lock� on the new ane. Then press �Open up� with the working remote and directly later �Open� with the new one. That's information technology.
Don't forget to disengage the cables again and re-assemble your car ;o)"
